Hi having recently come accross Crimson Skies and being unable to find a copy, I've been left wondering what the best fighter based rules are out there. They don't need to be in the style sytle as crimson skies, and probably more in the style of star wars for my tastes. Any good rule sets out there? And any good minis?

For Starfighter Combat "Silent Death" is a lotta fun.

You could try Crimson Eagles, based on canvas eagles. The price is right and it can be found in yahoo clubs.

Silent Death and Hard Vacuum… though I haven't actually played Hard Vacuum it certainly looks nifty so I'll throw out the name.

Silent Death seems to be the Go-To ruleset. I think it's pretty good.

Well after so many votes ofr silent death, and its very cheap price, I've take the plunge and downloaded it and ordered some starcraft from EM4, which I understand were made for silent death. Anyone know of any activate forums dedicated to silent death?

Check your 6 …WWII fighters.
hard Vacuum …pulp , Asteroids on a hex board ( way cool)
blue max ( Canvas Eagles) …WWI planes
Silent Death …Like the damage system , movement reminds me of a conga line .
….The FASA boxed Crimson skies iis pretty good , cannot comment on the click version

I've heard that the clix version is best stayed away from, but the FASA is excellent but impossible to get hold of now.
