Hey All: Just came back from Michael's store in the USA. Found 21 piece conifer set normaly $20 USD USD marked down to $12 USD – got three bags. They have the white stuff sprinkled on them, but I'll hit them with the textured green spray paint to make them "snowless". Trees are 7 to 2 inches tall with a nice mix for gaming from 15mm up. I also found some fake sprigs of fir for $3 USD USD – got three. These are nice because they can be cut down to make fir trees from 1 to 4 inches in height. I'll hit these with a different color of spray paint to make them look like blue and green spruce. All in all for $40 USD USD I just bought all the conifer trees I'll ever need. Sale is for the next two weeks. Cheers |

A similar 21 pieces tree set is available at Home Depot for about that price. When these go on sale near/after Christmas you can get a really great deal. Last year I picked up 3 bags when they got down to around $4.50 USD then swooped in later and got 6 more at the ridiculous price of $1.50 USD each Brian |

I bought some bags of those a few years ago. I soaked them in warm water to remove the white stuff. it also removes some of the green dye, so I would suggest doing this outside in a bucket you don't mind dying green. I then dry brushed them with a lighter grayish-green. I think it turned out well. |

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind as I was eyeing the white stuff myself
