Title says it all really? Does anyone make one? Would make a nice change from generic trucks! For that matter, does anyone make suitable Parisian taxis for the French reinforcements? |

Corgi did one a few years ago in their "warmachines" series (at le ast I think that was what it was called.) They were about £4.99 GBP each and painted to an okay finish. I bought three of e-bay a year or so ago for about a tenner. They look fine with 15mm figures. The only problem being open topped it would take a lot of seated figures to fill up the top deck

Anyone remember the Airfix one in 1/32 scale |

Yes, my brother made one. OT I know, but Irregular do a nice 6mm one. I converted one into a mobile pigeon loft, having seen an article on these deployed on the Western Front. |

Check with Gomi and see if their bus is available yet. link |

No luck on either suggestion, I'm sorry to say, looks like scratch-building is going to be needed, unless something like the Corgi one turns up on ebay! |

I say again, or am I talking to myself?, try Oxford Diecasts, they do a B type bus in various guises which could be easily repainted/windows boarded etc, and looks about 15mm. |

Sorry Jarrovian, I didn't ignore your helpful suggestion. Unfortunately the very nice Oxford Diecast model (a 1919 Thorneycroft, but a close match to the B-type) is 1:76 scale, so likely to be too big for 15mm figures (closer to 1:100). I might still get one just to check however, once I've compared a Matchbox/Lesney/Corgi one. Equally, Gomi does not know when their bus will be available. |

Try LLEDO, they might be closer to scale, sorry if I shouted. |

I managed to pick up a 1950's vintage Lesney/Matchbox version on ebay. I guess it's the same as the Corgi one & it's a nice match for 15mm. Quite battered, so no more expensive than the average 15mm vehicle, I guess, and will paint up well, with a bit of plasticard boarding for the windows. One down, another 2-3 to go, plus one for the HQ mobile pigeon-coop! Can anyone suggest a source for generic 1914-vintage lorries and staff cars etc while we're on the subject – I can't see much in the established ranges, so maybe die-cast 'toys' are the way to go again. |
