The format of the next painting contest will be identical to Intimidation Doubled – that is, an initial "send in a photograph" round, followed by the "paint the supplied miniature" round.

With the holiday season coming up, any suggestions on what the deadlines should be?

This next contest will be the long-promised Paint Something Fiery contest.

Who made that figure in the current contest?

Hmmm, I really think having the deadline anytime before mid to end of January will ensure lots of drop outs.

I'd say some time in mid November for entry submissions, which will give a week for voting. That will then give a couple weeks for shipping of the miniatures and then a month to find time to paint the miniature for a end of January painting deadline.

As for the current fig, I don't know which manufacturer did it, but the sculptor is Werner Klocke if I'm not mistaken.

Who made that figure in the current contest?

It's from the Armalion line by Hobby Products; the manufacturer is no longer active, but the figures are still available from Ral Partha Europe. TMP link

…the sculptor is Werner Klocke…

Correct

I agree with Delthos. That will facilitate holidays and students travelling.
