Looking for some fast play rules for modern 15mm Armor, in Platoon/Company size, (nothing bigger than a company)…

Any suggestions?

Hi murphy, i`m not into 15mm but i do have the metal storm rules for ww2 and modern, a clever system and faster to play then flames of war.
only the rulebook is needed and you have a points design system too, its like the AK 47 style of rules..

A simple and fun system..

Murphy – check out Cold War Commander. A decent sized (2000) point game is perfect for a single evening of play, and is approx 2-3 platoons of troops (depending on nationality, force makeup, etc).

We recently did a 1973 matchup (Israelis vs Syrians), and the Israeli side had three platoons (one armor, two mech inf), plus some small amount of supporting artillery (two tubes of L-33), and a small infantry scouting/ambushing force. The Syrian side was about half again as big, but had more tanks and fewer infantry. We could have comfortably played with either 2 or 4 players (we had 4, but two were newbies), and finished in about 2 hours of play time.

to get a handle on what MG is like and how attack problems and a good primer (I hope) on tank tactics even if you don't like the rules. Comments on the Bulletin welcome.
