Would anybody be interested in a Soviet-Afghan war scenario at Cangames 2010?

It would be using Ambush Alley in 15mm and would pit Soviet VDV or Canadian Infantry in a small snatch and grab raid in a afghan village. I've already scoped out a suitable village in Kandahar Province to recreate on the battlefield. Since games are about 1h long and it's 4h time slots I was thinking there could be some role reversals.

So would this fly?
Any comments/suggestions?
Any pitfalls I should lookout for?

Modern games tend to be pretty popular at Cangames – I ran a Falklands game that filled pretty fast.

If you want to run a fast game why not go for an 11AM -1 slot? A lot of people like to sleep in or shop at the dealers first thing so a game with a late start might be popular.

The Warwick club runs a lot of 1 hour games for people who are done early and they are pretty well attended.

Sounds like something I might like to try if it involves Canadians. I'm a sucker for that.

I would be very interested if I could get to Cangames! It would be popular at Hotlead for certain.

I would love to go to hotlead 2010 and host a scenario there, but alas life gets in the way.
