Bongolesia's number one comic, Yakov Nbutfsu has a joke about that.

"At Bongolesian crocodile barbecue, crocodile eats you!"

It's much funnier in the original tribal dialect …

As the hereditary leader of Bongolesia's Easter neighbor, Ramma-tamma-dingdong, I'd like to extend a hearty "Yippee" to the people of Bongolesia…enjoy your happy day. (Dat's ok, 'cause next year my glorious forces will have smashed the jerky army of Bongolesia and turned that little watering hole of a country into my next provence.)

Love the purple berets and matching pink scarves. If only they accessorized the AKs to match.

Just curious Wyatt, but those troops on parade, are they wearing shoes?

,,,and why do I have visions of Christopher Walken dressed up as Carmen Miranda, to appear on 'So You Think You Can Dance'? Am I having visions of a sequel to Dogs Of War 2, The Bongolesia Rematch.

That headline started my day off with a laugh. You do not get that much in the news of late. Thanks TMP!!

<in proper heroic Soviet anthem style>

Hail Hail Bongolesia!
Far Better a State than Micronesia!
Stand up tall and you can see
The majestic jowls of Phat Daddee

From jungle to mountain
From harbor to fountain
All will know the glory
All will hear the story
Bongolesia, the land without worry!

"Just curious Wyatt, but those troops on parade, are they wearing shoes?"

The lady soldiers are absolutely wearing shoes. The finest rubber from BF Goodrich. Since they're the elite, the soles are made using the snow-studded treads.

Bahhh Shoes!
More signs of western decadance.

I thought these guys had Mugabe on waiver for press releases.

I can click on the icon as much as I want, and I still can't contribute to Bongolosian Develpoment projects.

Has Bonglesia ever participated in the African Nation's Cup? Have you ever considered forming a "Bonglesian national team" and playing some of your AK47 Republic Neighbors? I'd be interested in following that one.

In Africa, it's throw another croc on the "braai" NOT "barbie." Barbeques are for poms, aussies and yanks! We make ours with petrol and wood (and the occasional tire to add flavour), not propane cylinders! (Besides they explode when you throw them into fire…)
