I was just wondered which companies have models relating to the recent conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan? |

in what scale? We have a fairly extensive 15mm range that includes Afghans, British and US. |

The Assault Group, Stan Johansen, Black Scorpion, Chiltern, and Brookes Miniatures can provide what you are looking for in 28mm. Mongrel has some Mujahideen from the Soviet invasion that could be useful as Taliban. Liberation and Stan Johansen both have very good ranges in 20mm that would work. Caeser, Revell, and Orion have miniatures for gaming these conflicts in 1/72 plastics. I don't know of any 1/35 moderns, but in 1/32 there is quite a bit available from DHL Dragon-reasonably priced too. |

I do 20mm myself ( edswargamesblog.blogspot.com ) . You have some of the best companies, Liberations, Britannia, S&S and Platoon 20 all making very good and very suitable figures. As a bonus there is a plethora of 1/72 and ho/oo plastic kist that you can easily and cheaply get hold of. And Britannia and Liberation have very concise and up to date ranges for Afghanistan. |
