I have just got my copy and like all good gamers the first thing to do was a (not so quick) flick though to look at the figs!

I have a couple of questions

- The book says the figs are all Old Glory, Foundry or Dixons, I'm sure some look like Artizan. Could somebody confirm or deny?

- Has anyone got the Perry Earp figs, are they as good as they look?

- who makes the third from right figure in Pete's posse and the central two p120?

- and the forth from right (duster and rifle) in Graham's p 121, also the deouty p 50?

- who makes the Mexican Bandido p102?

- the us Marshal p97?

- the rowdy page 53?

- scared cowboy p32?

Ok that's more than two

As you can see I also read the book backwards (a true gamer)

ps are the rules any good?

If you like the mechanics of Lord of the Rings Strategy Battle game you might like them. They do have a following. Personally, I think Gutshot or The Rules with No Name are a better option.

Thanks,

John

Hang about, I'll fetch the book…

Okay, 3rd from the right in Pete's Outlaw Posse is Foundry's 'Snake Oil Salesman' (OW11/5) – the rightmost figure of the central pair is also Foundry (VOW232).

…so is Graham's Lawman with rifle & duster. (OW4/5)

I have two of the Perry Earp figures. (found while scratting around in a bargain box!) Good, well-defined sculpts with a very nice sense of 'poise' to 'em.

- Sorry I meant the other right, d'oh for me!

- did you fin any other figs in that box? Where is the box?

No, that was my mistake with the '3rd from the right' thing, Binman… third from the (ahem) OTHER right is Foundry's 'Tuco' figure: OW4/2.

The Bargain box was at Vapnartak – the York Wargames show – last year. Can't remember whose stand it was at. Found a few Artizan Old West figures in there too… some well-dressed lawmen, and the 'Billy the Kid' special edition figure.

Norman have you seen the film The Long Kiss Goodnight?

Norman D Landings18 Oct 2009 5:33 a.m. PST

Saw it at the cinema when it first came out… haven't rewatched it since.
Does it have a bit with somebody getting their Left & Right mixed up?

thebinmann18 Oct 2009 7:08 a.m. PST

Yeah he shoots someone and them she says your "other left"

You remind me of A Fish Called Wanda.
"Left?" "Right!"
