As we are in the Golden Age of miniatures, I would like to give a "Heroes of the Golden Age" medal to Wargames Factory. Their hard plastic sets of historical 28mm Romans, Zombies, Celts, and Numidians are wonderful additions to the hobby. Add in their Liberty and Union program and you have true heroes. There are many other companies and individuals deserving of the honor. Who else would you award a Heroes of the Golden Age medal to? |

Howard from WF here. I'll let Tony pick up the medal, what with it being his company. I nominate Bob Murch of Pulp Figures, for essentially inventing the genre. Before him we had Mark Copplestone's fantastic Back of Beyond stuff, but it was Bob who defined Pulp as a specific "Fantasy range for Historical gamers" sphere. I'd say more, but a giant green gripping hand is reaching out to seize me. |

In addition to those mentioned I'd have to nominate the Perry's. They have consistently great figures and the plastics are just another branch that has high quality all over it. Plus they have been at it for 20+ years now consistently making figures that make people want to play games. |
