Can any of you direct me to some 28 mm miniatures similar to this one?

Perhaps some WWII or else.
I'm not afraid of a bit of conversion.
It works well also without belts.
(…and if it'll have a MG!)

Copplestone's Beat Cops look pretty close to me if you are looking for 28mm.

Here are a few other similarly clad police officers…

Thanks Cap.
I already owe Coppye's and Pulps, but they both have double button rows on jackets and "oriental" collar. (how dou you name that in english?)
I wonder if there are some "one rowed" out there.

Captain Apathy is close; what would you think about these figures: link

With the breeches filed down, and then headswaps with Woodbine SD cap heads: link

We call those collars "Mandarin collars" -- so pretty close.

Ah… yeah Jeff may be closer to the mark. Please keep us posted on what you decide on and how they turn out. I am on a 70's minis kick as well and I would love to see what you come up with. Cheers.

There are some gangster era police – old Ral Partha figures – available from Iron Winds Metals (though they may not be on the website, but I have bought them at conventions.

Good news is that they match the uniform shown in all except having a closed collar instead of an open collar and tie.

Bad news (aside from availability) is that there are only 3 poses (one with club, one with pistol, one with a tommy gun). Also, because they are slender and about 26mm size, they may not be able to take down any heroic scale criminals :)

Maybe these could be suitable:

Oh boy!
They are months I'm fascinated by Killer B and I'm anxiously waiting for my birthday to have them!
And I never realized how close the english policemen are to what I need! Thanks to have opened my eyes!
Thanks to all of you, my friends.
Brigade French Police could be suitable as well….with Woodbine Heads(Thanks for that too!)
Cap, I'll keep you all informed on my progresses!!!
Cheers!
