Anyone make small 25s that can be used on the table (and won't look out of place) with Battlefield Evo infantry?

I think they match up with mega minis decently…at least I keep them all in the same box…if you want to PM me your email addy I'll go take a comparison pic right now for you.

Eureka Kriegspiel range are a very good match, slighly bulkier but nothing too drastic.

Okay, I posted some quick pics with some stuff I could think of in a hurry on my blog…Evo PLA with some Mega Minis, Tactical Mini, Assault Group and Em4…hope it helps.

Thanks for the pics! I've got a chance to pick up some PLA stuff on the cheap, but don't have anything for them to fight. I'm thinking about doing some near future wars stuff, but I don't know. It would be something completly different for me. Thanks again for the pics.

now that I think of it, I shoulda added a GZG Stargrunt figure, I almost think the Evo guys would be a little tall, but maybe not.

Revell German KSK Special Forces are a bigger than standard 1/72 scale. I plan to use them together with my BEVO troops. The other Revell 1/72 packs are too small. Squadron.com carries them.

Corgi Tactical Strike series are all 1/64 scale and consist of USMC and US Army Modern Infantry and Vehicle. They work great with Battlefield Evolution figures. Goggle Corgi Tactical Strike to find pictures of what they have. I have some extra infantry and vehicles. Let me know if your interested at michaelconle@mac.com.

Believe it or not, BFEVO are "True" 28mm (meaning 28mm from soles of feet to the eyes, using the common Barrett measurement scale). A lot of the modern 28mm manufacturers are actually closer to 30 or 32 mm scale ("Heroic" 28)

Mongrel and Mofo miniatures work well with BF EVO, as do Tactical Miniatures. Foundry Street Violence should work well with BFEVO. I would avoid Devil Dog, Black Scorpion, and RAFM as these I think are all too large.

I would also avoid GZG as these are too small but might work if you want some "shorter" combatants compared to the BFEVO(Aren't you a little short for a stormtrooper…)

I would not go to 1/72 (20mm)--way, way too small.

I would have thought 'true' 28mm would have been from sole to top of head, which would explain why 'heroic' 28m are taller, being measure to the eye and so 2-3mm taller.
