I was wondering if anyone had taken Sharp Practice and ued it for the AWI or ACW, and if so what changes they had made to the basic rules?

The latest Lardy Special had an ACW adaptation for Ball's Bluff, and there is an AWI supplement, This Land Divided, which is also available from Rich. I have both and highly recommend both

There is also the SP scenario competition winning game, Escape From Jenkins' Neck. A neat scenario that has rifle-armed N C Loyalists and British sailors against the Lauzon Legion and some VA Militia.
We did a replay of the game awhile back.

GreenLeader,

I did a module for HISTORICON for the ACW. If you are interested, please send me a PM and I will send you the files.

I've used it for French & Indian war with no real changes to the rules, just being careful with OBs.

I don't think AWI is much of a stretch either.

ACW is easy if you stay away from breechloaders and repeaters. You might need some different national bonus cards.

Thanks you Mark, I will do that.

One simple question. How did it go?

Here is another AWI scenario designed for SP:

Hot off the Toofatlardies blog. It includes some pretty good adaptations for different troop types and really good variations on victory conditions for those different forces. Looks like another great scenario from Jan Spoor that provides most of the info needed for any AWI game.
