Could anyone suggest a set of rules for 2mm acw? I would like to have 1 regiment/battery per base. |

Polemos has two rule sets, one where one base = 1 regiment, the other where each base is a brigade. Bases can be any size so long as they are twice as wide as deep: link The DBA variant for the ACW would work. Volley & Bayonet uses 3" square bases so you could do brigade dioramas. Honor and Glory has a 4 bases = 1 brigade. It's a nice system and best of all it's free: link I'm sure there are probably others

You can just use any normal rules at that level of representation (V&B or Fire & Fury being the most obvious) and put lots of 2mm strips on the bases rather than a few 15mm figs. That is all we do with 2mm stuff. Other rules suggestions as above, Horse, Foot & Guns would work as well. |

As co-author I am biased, but check out "A Union So Tested" by Buck Surdu and myself. Regiments are represented by bases 3" x 1.5", batteries and HQ's on bases 1.5"x 1.5". link |
