Most readers are probably familiar with these but here's the intro anyhow:

These figures are one piece bendy plastic but caesar use slide mould techniques to get the most out the technology.
Some aspects of the figures are really nice, some aren't so nice.

Nice work, they have a nice 'used' look to the uniform, bases are nice too.

Very nice work. It encourages me to dig mine out and work on them.

Cheers,
Jason

Look nice! What rules are you using with them?

Thanks,

John

Rules wise I'm looking at ambush alley for smaller games and (modifying) stargrunt 2 for larger ones.

Choc chip was used in Somalia and the Gulf war. My inspiration for moderns was black hawk down.
6 colour looks nicer than 3 colour IMO anyhow.

I've done less of the chips/dots than is really correct. After I did them I thought of a way to abstract the chips which could be reasonably quick but I'm not sure it'll look good. Painting cam so it looks good almost always means some sort of compromise.

Great figures and a great paint job! Caesar Minis produce some excellent figure sets…it is amazing what can be done using slide molds these days. I just wish more 20 (1/72 or 1/76) figures would be as nice. Only gripe with Caesar, more variety of poses and more updates on their website. That said, you can't have it all, now can you!

the caeser figures have interceptor armour and tricked out weapons … these weren't around in 1993 .. so they kinda out of place in choc chip ..
