Hello,

Has anyone picked up the Realms of Cthulhu, if so do you play GRW and then again if so can the book be used to convert GRW to Cthulhu?

If not I think I'll go for a LotoW Cthulhu supplement I saw online.

Thanks

Binster

For what?

The Cthulhu sup, it's in France. Do you still want it?

I suppose it could, Isnt it Deadlands that uses the savage worlds rules mechanisms though rather than GRW?

In French? Could be tough…

I just got my English edition PDF of Realms of Cthulhu from Reality Blurs. Only had chance to skim through it but looks good so far.

If you want to use stats and such right out of the RoC book then I would suggest using Savage Worlds Showdown miniatures rules. They are designed for playing minis versions of the SW Settings. PEG is in the process of updating the Showdown rules and there is an Alpha version available for download here peginc.com

I am the Showdown line developer for Reality Blurs. We have kicked around the idea of doing a RoC Showdown book but we have yet to make a final decision and there are several Showdown books that we already have in the works so it would be a while before it happens if it happens. I know that I plan to play some investigators and cops vs. cultists and deep ones whether we produce a book or not. It is easy to do with Showdown.

I have never played GRW, always wanted to, so I'm not sure about the differences between GRW and Showdown. I do know that Shane plans to release Deadlands battle scenarios for Showdown.

All that said I think I saw a GRW to SW conversion chart out there somewhere. I would check savageheros.com
Savage Worlds came to be from GRW so I'm sure it wouldn't be to hard to convert GRW to SW.

If you want more info on RoC in general feel free to swing by our forums at realityblurs.com

The rest of the site is good too!

And finally something different (French/English)

If you have a any short questions I can translate for you, but the stats should speak for themselves
