A friend wants me to paint up some miniatures representing WWII era Commonwealth fifer and drummers.

I'm looking for any scale, since I think I won't have much choice, if any. Anyone have suggestions?

In battledress?

There's some Scots in Tam O'Shanters due out from BEF Miniatures shortly – the Officer could be converted without too much issue as both hands are clear of the body. Although you'll need to cut his gas mask bag off, which could be a pain.

That's all I know off in 28mm
