Seeking stores for materials for my endless terrain building, Im visiting friends in Pennsylvania for a week and thought I might get a chance to check out hobby shops, but have no clue about which ones would be good or where to start so Im looking for suggestions any readers might have, Town, Street address and or email website. Thanks |

There is/was a gaming shop not far from Bethlehem. It was just about to move down the road when I stopped in there in August. Wyatt |

Are you asking about Pennsylvania, in general, or Penn State University in State College, PA? |

Pennsylvania in general, will be traveling about in the state. Looking for hobby shops with miniature gaming stocks and terrain materials type of shops. Not interested in the Radio Control shops, though its easy to lose an hour in a good RC shop looking at aircraft :) |

In Lansdale, near Philadelphia, is a model railroad shop called Lin's Junction. They have a lot of terrain materials used for railroads, but nothing specifically aimed at wargames. In Media, Pa, south west of Philadelphia, there is a game store called Showcase Comics. They have a very large selection of wargames items (not historical except for FOW) and a good amount of terrain items. |

Just across the Del. River from Philadelphia is Stevens International, which besides being a distributor for hobby stores also have a retail store in the front. While they don't have any miniatures meant for wargaming, they do carry a large selection of 1/72nd scale plastic figures and vehicles and other models.Where the store really shines is the large selection of railroad terrain materials and paints. www2.stevenshobby.com:5641 |

There is my local shop in the little town of Palmyra (right next to Hershey). It's called 'Pastimes on the Square', they have some terrain goodies there, miniatures, rule books, board games
pastimesonthesquare.com I remember when I was at PSU, there was a little Hobby Shop downtown in between College and Beaver, but I don't know if it is still there. |

In Pittsburgh there is Legions Hobbies and Games. GW & FOW are their main lines, but they carry a good amount of other lines as well including various historicals. Terrain stuff too. legionsgames.com Mark |

Nittany Line Hobbies is on Fraser Street between College Avenue and Beaver Avenue in State College, and was still there about two months ago. |

North of Philadelphia in Doylestown there is Herb's Hobbies. No miniatures, but a good selection of plastics and trains with the associated terrain and diorama supplies. Been a while since I was out that way, but they used to have plenty of terrain stuff in the different rail scales. herbshobbiesandcrafts.com Mark |
