Hi does anyone have any of these figures, if so do they match up with Foundry (old), dixon and so on? Is the detail good?

Thanks

Adam

Hi, the manufacturer here.
They're kind of on the large size, between Foundry and Artizan, or Cowboy Wars. Probably not as large as Blue Moon. The new stuff I've started releasing (the New 28s series) are 27mm to 28mm to the eye.
I think most would say that my old stuff is kind of crude, but includes some subjects that aren't available anywhere else (Faro game, etc.). My new figures are greatly improved, but I'll leave it to others to comment on their quality. I am very proud of the quality of the sculpts I've been creating the past year or so in particular.

I dunno – I have some of the 'older' stuff and I like them just fine.

They are larger than Artizan and Dixon, but they seem to fit well with Black Scorpion (though they can't match the detail) and Reaper Chronoscope. I agree that the older figures are kind of crude, but they are priced accordingly. If you just need figures on the table they can be a good value. The newer stuff looks pretty good, IMO.

Maybe I have some of the older stuff, but the ones I have seem to fit in well with the Artizan that I have. They really don't seem out of place mixed in with figures I have from other manufacturers.

Well people are differnt heights. I have never had much trouble mixing figures from different manufactures if they are a couple of mm different.

Also been my experience that they mix well with others. I am speaking of the saloon patrons here. Can't speak to the newer models.

As an aside it would be nice if manufacturers could agree on a standard WEAPON size. Then let them make figures as large or as small as they like.

As it is you can mix larger and smaller figures but sometimes the weapons look ridiculous. I have this beautiful RP bandito that holding a pistol that most have a 1" bore in compared to the .44's most other figures carry.

Harris' early figures are not what the line should be judged by. The Knuckleduster line has improved dramatically from the kilted gunman and the store clerks sculpted three or four years ago. I don't see them as crude but having a graphic novel's chiseled appearance that would be characteristic of a frontier's resident living on beans, cigars and whiskey.
Dixon and Foundry (old) are noticeably short in a side by side comparison. Across the table from each other, hiding behind crates and dodging bullets in a skirmish game, you probably won't notice.

I've got the pack of gun-women and I'd put them just above Artizan and just below Reaper, height wise. Which means they blend well with everything. I don't think they're crude either. Maybe not as smooth as Artizan, but better than Cowboy Wars.

And they have a ton of character, which counts for a lot.
