Watching Star Trek Deep Space nine for the 4th time and in the 7th season Miles and Julian Got this big nice model of the alamo, the figs are only red and blue plastic, but the model is very nice. and ofcourse they intend to play the battle in the holosuite, but it's still wargaming.
And as I said the model it self is very nice.

So how old do you expect a few of us historical nuts are going to make it to keep it going?

By that time, wargaming will be a national sport.ESPN will cover the world FOW championships, with John and Allen, who's heads are preserved in cryo-jars,giving commentary on the sidelines.:)

I'm guessing the OFM post count will be up there by 2410.

That's still not enough time to finish a game of (insert any set of rules you think are unwieldy here).

In the words of the old pop song by (I can't remember)

"In the year 2525,
If man is still alive,
If wargaming can survive
They may find ……."

Sadly – there will be a few more wargaming periods by then !
