I thought Nymphadora was more of a Goth Chick.

I'm not sure Hermione backside is that big or the skirt that tight.

Not that I'm complaining!! grin

Those are nice choices.

"McGonagall isn't that hot in the movies!"

She won't be when I paint her either!!!

"I'm not sure Hermione backside is that big or the skirt that tight."

Well she does mention her backside in PoA and check out some of the pictures of her in costume for Deathly Hallows for 'tight'!!!

Well she does mention her backside in PoA and check out some of the pictures of her in costume for Deathly Hallows for 'tight'!!! – After doing some pictorial research I have decided to reassess opinion of Hermione backside. The miniature ( picture ) does not do her justice.

Observe…

I'd say the Tonks fig would do for Bellatrix and use the other witch for Tonks, minus the hat.
I think Harry's fig would need a new head!
Now what we really need is Luna lovegood in her lion hat.

Where are these miniatures available in Uk? Or even in Europe?

But what we really need are the three 'students' waving wands at someone. Are Reaper multi part? Could they have a different right arm with a wand in it?

Norrins06 Oct 2009 5:13 a.m. PST

"I think Harry's fig would need a new head!"

Maybe, but it's the only teenage figure I can find that is wearing spectacles. The scar can be painted on.

"Where are these miniatures available in Uk? Or even in Europe?"

The only way I've found of getting Reaper in the UK is to order via ebay. There are some good traders on there with reasonable shipping to UK. Orcs Nest in London sell some of the Reaper fantasy range but I think that was because the casting was done by Minifigs under license.

What we (ideally) need is 6 students with wands – Harry, Hermione, Ron, Neville, Luna and Ginny. Plus maybe another for Malfoy???

I'm even thinking of looking at the BTD Dr Who range to make up the other 3 or 4!!!

I can find alternative figs for Dumbledore, McGonnegal, Sprout, Lucius Malfoy, Sirius Black and Lupin, but you try finding one for Snape and Hagrid outside of the 'World of Hogwarts' playsets!!!

Reaper Harry looks a bit of a scrunt?

Funnily enough glasses are not that hard to sculpt on to any otherwise suitable figure…

Norrins06 Oct 2009 6:58 a.m. PST

It's just trying to find a suitable figure!!! ;-)

How about these?

Does mean ordering from BTD though :-(

Try HASSLEFREE? Various of their humans, including their Scooby characters with a bit of work?

Foundry do a massive Viking that would make a good basis for a Hagrid conversion

The Alyx/Luna figure costs £10.00?!?! Have I read that correctly?

What we need are figures like these (and others like the nerd etc) but all of them with wands in their hands. Standing around admiring the view is no use at all. Give them wands for X@#~X sake!

This is a 'pre-production' model, once it's in regular production I think it will be less.

Wands are easy to add. Drill a hole in a hand, add a piece of wire or tooth pick etc!!!
