Thanks you guys
. as for the viking I'm worried about a few of the shields not being for the ( vikings ) they were designed and painted by my girlfriend. Gripping beasr
I was worried when I first got them
.. they seems very flat
.. but man did they every paint up nice. My girlfriend and the other painters I employ on my project made every single one different as far as I can tell
.. I'm so pleased
just getting them ready to varnish and weapons in the hands
but Im worried about the spears as what spears to use gripping beast gave some very nice ones
but is there something else ? I'm getting ready to finish the rest about 300 more , bundi & hirdmen
.. foundry & crusader and more gripping beast
. bowmen and bundi ect. What do people think of the shields ? should I redo them in LMB transfers or do they look good now ? I have also been looking at building the Saxons & Normans next using Blacktress Design and Gripping beast and a few others like crusdar
but the european euro and british pound is killing the US dollar so I might need to wait a few months and hope things change. |

I'm with DeanMoto, George -- Viking shields look quite excellent as is! Also love your very well painted 18mm British Napoleonics. 10th Hussars one of my favorite units from the Victorian age, constantly employ mine in Afghanistan. Cool to see some of their predecessors, albeit in a slightly smaller scale! |
