Well I told people on TMP that I would check a few things out. I did check on those things that I could remember.

I talked to Doug the owner of Frontier and the game store tactical Edge. He has sold Frontier to a new owner from the same town.

He is not sure what the guys to do with the range nor did he know of any production schedule. The guy did not attend Hurricon.

I will let you know if I hear more.

For the Victorian SciFi players and skirmish naval gaming, there was a new company from north of jacksonville. He had a new nice range of both historical ships and scifi/VSF ships to use with 15mm or 28mm skirmish gaming.

I espeiclly liked the VSF airboats on stands. i recommended that join TMP as a manufacturer and attend Augusta's show in January.
I have his card in the truck which I have not completely unloaded yet. Once i find his card, I will post his company name.

I always enjoyed Frontier figures. But they do not mix with much available today and were themselves so hard to get. So I unloaded all of my Frontier.

I have a bunch of bags of their 15mm ACW I picked up a few years ago and the molds were still good at that time (2005ish). It's a shame they're not around anymore, I always liked their British Colonials and their Boxer Rebellion lines.

Please keep us posted on Frontier. Their CW stuff, especially the steam launch, was excellent. I have a lot of their Boxer line as well. I think it mixes well with Old Glory and a number of other current lines.

Are these guys on the smaller end of 15mm?

Rudysnelson01 Oct 2009 3:20 p.m. PST

They were big in the 1980s. now I would call them average. they are not as 'light' as heritage or other slight 15mm.
