Gringos, Tejanos, Mexicanos are all welcome to buy a drink at Rosa's Cantina y Mercado. The latest addition to the Town of Cerro Grande, NM.

Just completed another building for my ever expanding Wild West town. More scratch build balsa, spackle, corn skewers, and cardboard.

Watcha think?

Very nice, but a few details (from the song, of course):
1) There must be a back door!
2) There must be room for Wicked Felina to twirl
3) You need a place where wild young cowboys can tie up their horses. After all, these need to be easy to reach after you shoot someone for dancing with your girl.

"Out through the back door of Rosa's I ran,
Out where the horses were tied."

Great building, by the way!

Terrement, Thanks for the kudos. The building is 7" wide by 6.5" deep. The front is 4" high and the rear wall is 3.5" tall.

I don't know how well you can see in the foto but I paint over black primer which shows through the white and kind of gives the well worn look.

I may try the pastel technique as I do have some chalk I could sand down and powder the surface.

Soldat: Seriously? You don't know the song "El Paso" by Marty Robbins? It's one of the most famous Western songs of all time!

Check it out here at YouTube:

What better place than a Western town to wake up with a horse's head in your bed. Probably the whole horse in some cases.
