Just posted pics of my Impetus Gauls,11 light foot,2 medium cav. 200 different hand painted shield designs (ouch). quick sloppy paint job, but thought others might like to see variety of shields for their own armies..

actually I chose to use 16/base for light foot warband with a 60mm depth…just my preference 12 would look fine

Those are very nice! I do like the Impetus bigger bases. You could also use the units for DBA, doubling the groundscales.

Two bases of Gauls fielded as a large unit adds up to 21 points (assuming none are elite), and a cavalry base is roughly the same, so there's about 150 points worth of troops here, about 200 points with a couple of generals. However, a third general (which you'll want with a poor command structure) and 6-8 bases of skirmishers will take you to 300 points, the recommended game size for 28mm Impetus.

Your army looks very impressive and will surely terrify your opponent.

Steve, nice work on the figures! I also use O.G. Celtics out of 36 warbands I have 24 O.G.. my warbands have 48 figures per. My others will be replaced by W.F. gauls. Mike Adams

omg that must look amazing thats 1728 crazy celts on foot, thats enuff lead to kill a normal table..would love to see that army lined up for battle
