I just vote, and post my comment, if any. I then participate in the discussion.Rarely, if ever, do I follow it to its conclusion to see what the final totals are. In fact, I cannot remember if I ever did check it out on its conclusion! And, this even includes polls that *I* have suggested. I like to participate, but ignore the results. |

What the heck would you follow one for? They are utterly meaningless. |

Allen, I think I once posted a question if any manufacturrs actually followed poll results. |

Meaningless!?! Sir, my polls are not meaningless. They can be fun. Yeah, I tend to follow them if I'm interested in the topic, or if there aren't any good football games on local TV, such as today. |

Nah, I occasionally vote but never check back. |

Like John, I vote, weigh in with my opinion, then forget about it. I've usually taken part in the original thread which got the poll going in the first place, so it is an easy way to keep my post count up without too much mental effort, as the same arguments are trotted out again. |

I don't vote in many of the polls but about once every 2 months I go and check poll results. |

It depends on the poll. If I vote on a lot of polls that I dont think will change much from the time I vote until their end I dont check back. |
| Syrinx0 | 20 Sep 2009 12:59 p.m. PST |
Every now and then. Usually by the time I vote the direction of the poll is obvious. |

No, in fact I usually don't follow a thread after it's left the front page. |

" They are utterly meaningless." So! The good Allen is an existentialist. That explains much. |

Sometimes I do out of simple curiosity, though most times I simply forget about it after I vote. |

Sometimes. But if its a Poll I started, then I follow it all the way to the end.
