kcgamefair.com The KC Game Fair is a new gaming convention bringing a number of long standing KC area gaming conventions under one roof and expanding the offerings to include games of most any type All kinds of games! Board games, historical miniatures, Fantasy Miniatures, Collectable miniature wargaming, roleplaying games, Collectable card games, live action roleplaying, etc, etc Some will be single game events, while others may be tournaments or competitive play. The list should expand as plans solidify. Special Guests include Duke Seifried! Too bad it's the same weekend as the next Big Muddy show in St. Louis, otherwise, I'd consider going to it. Best of luck. maybe next year. KC is a great gaming town. The gaming is one reason I would consider moving back. |

I'll be there on Friday and Saturday with my 12yo nephew and (for part of the time) my dad. Neither of them have ever been to a gaming con but Dad's been interested in seeing one since he saw my HMGS-E con photos from the past few years and I'm hoping to get my nephew hooked. :-) I grew up near KC but haven't been active in gaming there since the 80s, so I don't think I'll know anyone.
