Pepsi is running an advertising insert in Entertainment Weekly that includes a video screen with audio. Mailed only to subscribers in Los Angeles and NYC, it'd be a bit of a challenge to find, but if one can get ahold of it, there's a free video billboard for your sci-fi settings.

Or, if your game is set in Metropolis/Gotham City, you now have a billboard for your Times Square equivalent.

If you're enterprising enough, you can load a new video onto it.

That would be awesome, especially if we could figure out how to put our own 'video' on it.

Facinating. It is now cheap enough that you can mail a TV to people just to show your ads.
They're mailing TV commercials.
That just blows my mind.

Also, the chip holds 40 minutes of video. That's a a lot, so you could use it as a drive-in screen showing a appropriate movie even.

Think of those annoying greeting cards with the sounds/songs imbeded in them. No doubt the price per screen will plummet. The possibilities are limitless, except for ease of imput.
