So, for Sci-Fi games has anyone used 1/285th or 1/300th Modern jets to supply the air support units for Sci-Fi games? The C-in-C model on theTMP announcement looks like it could double as a low-Tech Sci-Fi aerial strike unit. Gracias, Glenn |

Modern jets? Heck, I use modern tanks, trucks, artillery, and infantry! That's for the militia units--I can always say it was purchased frm mothballed stocks on the cheap! Rob |

I can easily see ubiquitous aircraft like the Apache sticking around for a few more decades at least, if not more- because it's an aircraft that works, and in these hard economic times, it may be difficult to convince the Army they need a new chopper. So too do I see F-22s/F-35s remaining in service for decades. F-14s/15s/16s/18s being religated to 3rd world air forces but still very viable in the air theaters of tomorrow. If you want ultra-tech, Sci Fi aircraft for 285th/300th scale- try Reaper CAV aircraft. Avoid the True N-Scale stuff, the rest of it they purposefully underscaled to get more planes in the blister- somehow they think they did us a favor by doing that, I suppose. Cheers! |

In the 1/300 or Epic scales, I tend to use moderns as low-tech or militia vehicles. Also, in 28mm I use ECW miniatures in Fantasy games and WHFB Empire minis in 40k, as low-tech PDF's. |
