Here's some good news for Historicon 2010 directly affecting the parking situation. Major League baseball just released the game schedules for 2010 today. For the dates established for Historicon 2010 (8-11 July 2010) in Baltimore the Orioles will be on the road in Texas for the entire convention. However, the Nationals will be in town playing San Diego on the 8th and San Francisco the rest of the convention dates. Weather permitting for the ball games, of course.

Having been to a convention at the BCC during an Orioles game, I'm not sure it matters, but it's good news nevertheless.

That is good news as, if I am able to go, we'll be commuting from northern Virginia each day.

Really. Nationals Stadium is nowhere nearby, and even when their games let out during rush hour nobody really notices here. What is 2 more cars in the big scheme of things.

That is good news though.

Interesting. I called the business office of the local
AAA club (Rays affiliate) back in June and asked them
when MLB would release their schedule.

They told me normally in January. Perhaps they meant
the AAA schedule, I don't know.

They are playing for the league championship for the
third year in a row – hope they win this time !

The Orioles games had little to do with the mainstream objections of the usual suspects nattering nabobs of negativism.

It's like fixing the roll stabilizers on the Titanic.
