Staines Wargamers are pleased to announce that Hott Staines will take place on Sunday 15th November 2010.

We will commence at 9.30am with registration (Tea and coffee will be available all day). This will be a 4 round competition in 15mm and 25mm (bring one of each, or use one of the Pool armies, as you please) according to Swiss Chess format, using the standard Berkeley Warband/Shooter Rules amendment.

We will again be trialing one or more of the sneaker ammendments.

Rough timetable (subject to change)-

9.30 Doors open

10.00 First round starts

11.30 Second round

12.45 – 2.00 Lunch

2.00 Third round

3.30 Fourth Round

5.00 Winers and Losers

Cost will be £8.00 GBP per person, to include teas and coffees.

The optional theme is – Armies and Enemies of the Silver Screen

While the winner will receive a small trophy, in the spirit of other competitions, it is suggested that allentrants donate a single spare troop element, 40 or 60 mm base, and winner gets first pick.

A Map and directions will be posted in the next couple of days, but our venue is about 10mins from the M25 jct 13

Staines railway station is the closest and arrangements can be made to meet anyone who wants to attend via public transport.

Anyone interested from beginner to novice is welcome. So far we have about 6 interested parties, but space for at least another 10.

Please let me know either through or off list if you wish to attend.

Look forward to seeing many of you again,

I knew it was just a cover name for the Staines Massive. Is wargaming popular around Egham?
