Today I received a package in the mail containing a small fleet of Cold Navy Ships. these are manufactured by Ravenstar Studios ravenstarstudios.com These are the third time these ships have been released (1st time by Ravenstar) and in my opinion third time is a charm. They are very nice resin space ships. I have/had some of the original white metal Cold Navy ships (1st generation, not second generation metal ships) that were put out several years ago and these are much better IMHO. the casting is crisp and flawless no defects that I can see and they seem to fit together much better. The bases are better too with actual details as opposed to a flat wooden slabs that came with the first generation ships. And being made out of resin the larger ships aren't top heavy , which I think is nice too. my only grip was it took 5 weeks for delivery. Although in Ravenstars defence this is a new venture and he did a good job communicating with me. All in all I do plan on ordering from him again. the ships are easily worth the wait. here is a photo of some of the ships I got and one of the first generation ship for comparison. they aren't the exact same ship but it gives you an idea of the quality. pictures may be a bit blurry, my camera isn't the best picture
