Hi,

I've just ordered a load of 1/1200 Ironclads and realised that I haven't got a clue how to paint them or what colours to use. I had a read of the boards and found the funnel band colours for the City class and that the Union favoured black hulls.

Can anyone point me to a web page or something that can give me a few pointers?

thanks

I've got some pictures of them on my site. Once that is back from being hacked (hopefully later today) I'll post a link.

I picked up the ospreys on the city class ironclads & the river gundboats. I used a dark gray/black color for the city class vessels. Not much is known about the color schemes of the various gunboats so you can use a lot of natural wood colors & whites.
