Well hopefully anyway. I have some Battlefront figures which I want to convert. PP do the head I need. Before I buy the 12 or so head packs, can anyone let me know how well the figures compare ie will the heads look right, like massive pumpkins or teeny tiny pinheads?
Thanks

More like teeny tiny pin heads, I'm afraid. Depending which Battlefront range we're talking about, that is.

Personally I don't really think they're compatable. I certainly wouldn't do it, but others may have differing opinions.

Definitely not compatible.

Hi eastriding. As suggested above it does depend whihc Battlefront / FOW figures you are talking about.

It also depends whether you want the figs to match with other Battlefront minis once you've done the conversions!

In some instances the P.Pig heads make the Battlefront miniatures look of more human proportions but place the conversion on a stand next to other Battlefront minis and it looks completely out of place.

You're best bet are the most recent Soviets and Spevverand Germans whihc are smaller and slimmer 15's.

Cheers
Mark

Thanks guyus, looks very much like a No then. Not to worry, back to the drawing board.

You didn't say specifically what figures and what heads. It does make a difference.

"Spevverand"

Added to the list…

Well I have done lots of PP heads to BF bodies. Driver and passeenger figures from US & British Jeep packs is what I have worked with. The heads work OK, PP tends to be a bit smaller but it is not totally out of wack and they for me at least for sitting down figures. PP heads on Old Gloy figures, now that really does look like a pinhead (I only did a couple then stopped)!

Ah sorry, BF infantry is 8th Army and PP heads are French Kepi to make FFL in the desert.

That would work reasonably well – the 8th Army figures are the gigantuans that some of the later BF figures have become. I've got some PP heads (kepis, berets, bushhats & the like) on the original BF Americans which are proportionally similar.

"AREN'T the gigantuans…."

(so much for proof reading the post)
