I met an ex KC135 navigator who told a story about going into North Vietnam (without any escort) to refuel two F4s who were almost out. They had to time their turn exactly to link up with them. Could be the inspiration for an interesting scenario. So would the mysterious loss of Rivet Amber. link rc135.com link And the shoot down of an EC-121 (which the US ignored). link |
