just finnished my latest ambush alley vehicle in 20mm. an outside broadcast van complete with satalie dish and aircon unit. picture it started out in my sons diesact collection as a simple 'yatming' usa ford van, now with new wheels, rear ladder, aircon unit and satalite dish for sending the news bulletins back home. picture the dish is scratchbuilt out of a few odds and ends and the decals are from a revell lorry kit. picture the original wheels were a little small so i used some old matchbox morris 17 pdr wheels, with knobly tyres. figure is from the s & s models modern chinese pla range. picture might even get it in the next ambush alley game on weds eve. someone will try to shoot at it. thanks for looking shaun |

i like , i like , well done , i have a similiar vehicle although a little dirtier . Ive noticed Matchbox and Hot Wheels have started to make allot more everyday "civilian " looking vehicles ideal for use in AA games. Playing a game in war torn cities of the Middle East and Africa with Mustangs and Dodge Vipers just didnt look right , there are now plenty of buses and trucks and everyday "boring " cars to use to bring the streets alive , i dotn even mind the trucks and buses being out of scale , they look right. cheers Tom |
