Though these were marine creatures, they could easily be sculpted for land.

While interesting, it is a bit mundane.

Needs more tentacles, like the Carnosian Marines.

Cacique Caribe04 Sep 2009 10:17 a.m. PST

Well, I agree. More tentacles, without looking too much like a regular octopus.

Perhaps 2 or 4 additional tentacles, but coming out from under the sides? I would prefer the two in the "front" to still look like the main grasping ones.

Put some feet on it and it would be a D&D rust monster.

Put more feet or fingers on it and you have a face hugger
(I have always liked this one in particular)

D & D "Legendary Evils" #31 Remorhaz! (I just ordered two from an internet store I get plastic/clix-ish stuff from)

be sure to use the ENLARGE button to look at the image…it has a cool face and lotsa legs!

Slishfully,
Sgt DWW-btod

Space Monkey04 Sep 2009 2:17 p.m. PST

That Remorhaz is nice… wish it wasn't bendy plastic (hard, unpainted plastic would be fine).
I've looked for years for the old metal Ral Partha ones but they are 'rare' and bring 'rare' prices.

Not enough nice giant centipede-type minis out there.

Ijumpajav04 Sep 2009 4:12 p.m. PST

Who asked for tentacles????????????????

Whoah. Even for a Crinoid that is one bizzarre looking thing.

The FRINGE SFX people should have seen this before they made the developed rhinovirus slugs . . . that shell section looks precisely like a viral proteing coat writ large.

Mr Brightside04 Sep 2009 4:56 p.m. PST

I would add about five beady eyes if it is an alien and no matter what it is I would agree four more tentacles and a prominent beak or proboscus.

The grub is nice…
