Easy. One word: "Chupacabra" Preferably 2-3 variants, based on ANY ONE OF THESE illustrations: picture picture picture picture picture picture picture The hind legs should be more muscular than the front ones, and the torso should not be broad or human-like. And, if done standing on its hind legs, it should be done in a pronounced hunched-over pose, as if sitting on its haunches (like a baboon or kangaroo). "The most common description of Chupacabra is a reptile-like being, appearing to have leathery or scaly greenish-gray skin and sharp spines or quills running down its back.[19] This form stands approximately 3 to 4 feet (1 to 1.2 m) high, and stands and hops in a similar fashion to a kangaroo.[20] In at least one sighting, the creature was reported to hop 20 feet (6 m). This variety is said to have a dog or panther-like nose and face, a forked tongue, and large fangs. It is said to hiss and screech when alarmed, as well as leave behind a sulfuric stench." en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chupacabra That would mean sculpting 2-3 variants no bigger than, say, 10-12mm, right? The only problem I could see is that there are so many versions of hte Chupacrabra that pretty much any little goblin beastie can be used. -Eli |

Eli, I don't know of any "little gobin beastie" that looks anything like this one, which I think would be the coolest example: picture It has a definite kangaroo shaped body, the spikes, claws, and a very alien-looking face. And it would have to be about 2/3 the height of a human figure. CC |

Thanks Ron, However, I was really trying to encourage someone to come up with a distinct set of figures, based specifically on any of the Chupacabra examples above. If possible, I would prefer to stay away from conversions, as it would involve making massive changes the the figures themselves, and not simply the removal of weapons. CC PS. Those GFI ones look a lot different from the ones shown here: link 15mmfantasy.tripod.com/gfi.html |

Ron linked to the new site, but to the general lizardman comparison page. You can navigate to the GFI page on the left. CC's link is to the old site, the old content is the same but is not updated and missing the newer pages. |

I guess I'll have to resign myself to the idea that I may never see anyone make 15mm figures that quite match the kangaroo-like body and posture of this critter: picture CC |
