I've just ordered Litten's book on Ramillies which is supposed to have the OBAT for Ramillies in it. Are you familiar with George Nafziger? Google for him. He has lots of OBATs and has some from the WSS era. |

You may want to join the Pike & Shot society. They have many books related to WSS including Iain Stanford's book on the battle of Blenheim. pikeandshotsociety.org What scale are you using for your WSS adventures? |

The Scale we are using is 15mm. As it stands so far i have a French army consisting of 40 Battalions. the rules we use are BLB which works great with 15mm without having to do any converting from 28mm-15mm. I have some photos on my blog of a couple of WSS games that we have played recently. jonswargaming.blogspot.com |

I don't know of any freebies. Lace Wars by Stephen Danes has a bunch of different period scenario books including WSS. I own this one and can tell you that it is a pretty good book. Now, the OOBs are pretty general. They don't make mention of Regimental names etc but rather tell you that there were 2 regiments of Mason Du Roi and 9 Regular battalions at this battle. If you are ok with that (it works for me) then it makes for a pretty good scenario book. The larger battles are brigades while the smaller battles are battalions or even companies for the very small actions. You can extrapolate the larger battles for Battalions by simply multiplying each brigade by 4. Yes it will cost you money but it is 1 book. Hope that helps, John |

Some nice pictures on your blog. Do you know the maker of the hex terrain mat in the most recent WSS game you had. Many thanks, Andy |

Hi Andy The hex terrain was scratch built by a friend who has the game table set up permanently at his house. |
