There has been a drop in the basic material cost for "White strong and flexible" material at Shapeways: link I just ordered a Command Carrier and two Escorts to round out my squadron of 4x Light carriers: picture Shave a couple bucks off the Command Carrier and a bit off the escorts as well. Since the price includes shipping (Min order $25)I give this 2 thumbs up! |

Also check out page 2, the Orbital High Port and Refinery ship are awesome! (As is the little Gunstar) |

That refinery does, indeed, rock! Do these people deal with the outer colonies for shipping and so forth? Many US companies do not . . . |

This is shipped from the UK, and I am in the US, so no issues there! Was fast shipping on my last order. |

Thanks :D I've had test pieces take all of two days to get from the Netherlands to me in western Washington once they've been printed. |

I got so many of my own to get through first
;) Here's a couple of renders of the current set: picture picture |

The only thing that I can say is that these design all look a little stocky. Any chance that future releases might have a bit more length in them? -Eli |

Cool! Mind if I ask what part of WA you work out of? I'm in Mukilteo, myself. -Eli |

This is brilliant work, and the news that more are coming even better! I have my eyes on the refinery ship, but I would like the ask- the catamaran hull ship in front of the orbital station in the group render – waht are you envisioning this as being? I'm thinking of it as a tug of some kind. |

I'm currently hiding out in Redmond. That ship is a salvage cruiser. I see it being a mobile repair station, tugboat, field stripper, and general purpose flying garage. I can imagine the two hulls spreading out and blossoming into a big irregular latticework cage when it's doing its job. |

Ah Redmond, the heart and soul of Northwest gaming. Looking forward to seeing how this line develops. Great stuff. -Eli leadpeople.blogspot.com |

OH that is a brilliant concept – I've always envisioned a space tug working on the same priciple, enveloping the craft to cradle it through transport
.Of course, equally valid for a repair ship as well. |
