Gentlefolk,

My compatriot, Richard Houston, has reason to need to recall the name of the convention formerly helf in Austin, TX.

It was, he remembers, an annual event, commonly held on the weekend before Thanksgiving.

He seems to think it ended perhaps three years ago.

If anyone can help identify this event, or provide any information about it, please post here, or Personally Message me, as you prefer.

Thank you!

Millinium though my spelling is off. I got a notice that it is a go for this year as well.

WOW.

Talk about "instant gratification!"

I'll run this past Richard and see if this is the one he was looking for.

Thank you, Sir!

Tell Richard Houston that Rudy said hello. Also tell him that the open heart surgery to replace the aoritc valve seems to be successful so far. Yes he kept telling me how bad I looked at nashcon. I had the surgery in mid-June.

By the way, the con did NOT end and is still going strong.

Oh, and it's still "in" Austin. Round Rock is a suburb of Austin. It's just a wee bit on the outskirts of town and will probably be swallowed up within the next decade.

Mitchell that may be a big plus. As the last time i went to the show, i was unable to get a convention site room. A very rough neighborhood. Gunshots happened at the motel which was just on the next block.

The suburb location may be a lot more friendly.

I am trying to line up drivers so I can go as a dealer. (Due to the heart surgery).

It is Millennium Con, it is No longer downtown, but in nice peaceful Round Rock (Just a few minutes north of Austin) It is an AWESOME convention, very popular with games of every description (Fair notice, I run a few every year-This year is two large Starmada games)

A very friendly, very fun convention.
