I have not got any to hand at the moment, but I can fit close order infantry 3 strips deep on a base 20mm deep. |

Yup – they're ~5mm – you can squeeze 4 strips of many of the close order infantry onto a 20mm deep base, although it's sometimes easier to work with 3. Doug |

Nearly all of the Baccus figures are on 5mm strips. This is how I personally prefer them. (My ECW pike and shot are 3 ranks deep on 40mm x 20mm bases.) However, some ancient stuff that would be 'auxilia' in DBA/DBM/DBMM is on 1cm strips (for instance the 'AHI4 – Syrian Infantry' that I got earlier this year). On the other hand, the 'ASP1 – Spanish Scutarii' that I got at the same time were on 5mm strips. Don't know what strips are currently used for the Celtic warband. It used to be on the 1cm strips but then again so did the Spanish scutarii. |
