Ive displayed it next to a rocket cup (2nd ed) from Denny's to show its a tad larger than the Denny's cup.
I think its a better size match for Hydra's Galactic Grenadiers line though.

Sweet, that certain does have some nice pulpy lines.

Thanks for the heads up.

That does look good. The kids might like painting it as well.
I'll have to see what our local Michael's has in stock.

Yes very nice.

It looks like a pretty good starting pint for a submersible too.
Submersible in lava goo?

I rather like the wood grain. I'm thinking how I could paint most of it like it was metal and leave some parts wooden, rather like the old "woody" automobiles. Maybe that would work better for a submersible than a space ship, though.
Very cool! Need to add Michaels to today's running around.

I could do with a starting pint right about now.

Boy. That's terrific. I need to run and get one now.

I'm half expecting Wallace and Gromit to come out firing rabbit plasma guns

Nicely done.

If anyone ever releases Wallace & Gromit in 28mm armed with rabbit plasma guns … I'm in!

Aqua Teen Hunger Force flew in a wooden rocket.

I happened to see on of these in a Michael's (same sort of store as A. C. Moore) today, and I'd probably reinforce the fins before using it. If you're feeling ambitious, you could probably band saw through it to create some interior detail/access.

The rocket is very nice. Thanks for posting this. I need this for my new Buzz Lightyear figures.

I was just at Michael's and they have these cartoonish looking wooden pirate ships complete with oversized cannon. They also had a medieval tower and some tribal huts. All of these were in the birdhouse area. I see a lot of gaming potential on the shelves of that aisle.
