Hi mate. They look good. I have some to do myself. Is that their historical shield design. |

Hi, it's conjectured that they had T's on their shield; not proven, though, AFAIK. They might just have had Lamdas- but I have lots of Spartans with Lamdas alreay and fancied a change. I'd like to do some Sicyonians and Messenes who also had lettered shields. Cheers, Simon |

Very nice indeed! I came into some more Foundry Spartans at Historicon's flea market, and I'm tempted to go with Tegeans rather than yet more Spartan reinforcements for my existing army. Hmm --- |

Hi Mike- Foundry to a man! Yes MJS, I already have too many Spartans and not enough opponents. At least these look just a little different- I mixed in a few non-pilos helmets and some colours on the linen armour. Cheers, Simon |

That's a nice unit! What shields did you use as substitutes for the originals? |

Simon, lovely looking as always! Cheers Mike |

Thanks Mike. Hi Skeptic, I remove the original shields, with raised Lamdas, and substituted a mix of Foundry and Newline shields. I now have lots of spare painted and unpainted Foundry shields with Lamdas
could trade if anyone needs them. Cheers, Simon |
