Bill, And by "feature", I don't mean your looks either. Thanks a lot! A sign of the new PC-nuts times, is it? Either call it something different, or else don't punish* others for talking about them. You know, I've always defended your right to be wrong . . . until now. CC * By making everyone's posts, time and effort go to waste, over something silly, that he created! TMP link |

Today I don't even like my posts! I am pizzed, like I have not been in a very long time . . . . . . ever since I was grounded for borrowing my brother's car (with permission, mind you). And after filling up the tank and washing and waxing the damn thing. Made no sense. This makes no sense. Might be a small thing, but it is clearly stupid, and I won't simply "take it". CC |

Bill's website, Bill's rules. It wasn't my idea, but the TMP community did vote to have a moratorium on the subject of It. |

This one is not a question of "Bill's House, Bill's Rules" for once (which people seem to like or dislike as and when it suits them, chanting it like idiots when they agree). This one was democracy in action, as voted on by the membership. The moratorium proposal won by a single percentage point, 42% to 41%, I believe it was. If you don't like it, then go live in Russia, or whatever the equivalent of that phrase is nowadays. Florida or somewhere, I imagine. THE PEOPLE have spoken. God bless/save America/The Queen (delete as appropriate). |
Cacique Caribe | 26 Aug 2009 1:20 p.m. PST |
Bill, And since when is this a democracy! Your place, so it should be your rules! Since when are businesses a democracy? Even corporation members don't all get the same voting power. Don't go all PC on us. I can't take any more PC krap. I deal with it too much on a daily basis and this is one of my very few refuge sites anywhere. CC |
Plynkes | 26 Aug 2009 1:23 p.m. PST |

that thing we must not speak of. |

I had a dream about Kelly Rowland the other night. It was a good dream. I would have preferred a dream about Jamelia, but it would seem my subconscious and I do not agree on that point. Anyway, it was nice. |

That explains nothing. I don't care though. Ohh, it's that this were not talking about here. Got it. I don't understand why anyone talks about it anyway. The rules say don't, so don't. It isn't hard really. Watch. I got 100+ BF Evo troops at GenCon for $20, that was cool. See, didn't mention it at all. |

Goldwyrm, do I have your permision to use that? I'd say of course. Words are free. Regardless of the thought having arrived in my head and being expressed through my keyboard, you may also have to ask Bill's permission to use it per his copyright rules since it currently resides on his website. so AFTER the 'moratorium' can I add 'the word that must not be said'
.sorta like he who must not be named? to the 'naughty' words that you CAN say on TMP without being 'bleeped', snipped or DH'd????? sorta our own personal version of George Carlin's '7 Words you can't say on Radio or Televion' (or internet sites
) only IN REVERSE? Did I mention that thanks to a mis-dosing of some of my medications last night that I had a very VIVID, recurring dream about INTIMATE interplanetary 'relations' with a very sensual shape-shifting energy being, while riding a whirlpool of molten metal out past Titan with a lovely view of the RINGS OF SATURN? I had to wake up at least three times to go 'slish' but when I dropped back into sleep I 'picked up' right where I left off in the dream!? It was GLORIOUS and she/it was FANTASTIC! Lest you think me totally a 'perv', I will mention that 9 out of 10 such 'segmented dreams' (dropping back in, after a 'commercial break') are NOT as much fun
and in fact
have caused me to finally get up outta bed for a couple of hours
This is because IF I don't stay up for at least 30 minutes
I STILL go back into the SAME dream 'where I left off' and that is not COOL! My doctor said it was one of those 'potential side effects' that adding the higher dose of the second 'anti-depressant' to my regular regiment
but NOT quite as serious as other 'potentially' serious 'side effects' like liver failure and DEATH
.(I should stop taking med and contact my doctor if anything like that happens!! Well, DUH!) What has that got to do with CC's 'viewpoint?' I'm not sure. I like Bill, I like CC, I like John the OFM and a lot of other folks on TMP. I don't always agree with or even understand SOME things, some of the time, but I do try to be 'supportive'
or at least empathetic? I've dealt with a LOT of stuff in my life where things just don't 'make sense'
from government and tax/propterty issues to ex-spouses and attorneys or even product warranties and return policies. I've come to the conculsion there are just some things that I don't/can't/won't understand and many of them I will not like, but 'that's the way it is/was/will be' as Unca Walter would have said. (I miss him!) So Hugs and Best SLISHES to all
and hopefully
things will 'settle down' for everyone and 'this too shall pass'
like the TOXIC remnants of the double-hot-chile-cheese with extra refried beans, 'Burrito Supreme of BUMFLAMING DEATH!' and then the 'healing' (and air-freshening) can begin! By the way
on the photo (NSFW)
.what has that got to do with fish and bicycles
.OH! nevermind
.ewwwwww! Sgt DWW-bartentacle on duty! |
