There was a thread a few weeks back discussing the 1/55 scale CH-46 Sea Knight that RLBPS was selling. Well I picked one up and offered to take comparison pictures to help people decide if they wanted one. Well here they are. I have a number of helos in the line up including the CH46 Se Knight (1:55 New Ray), UH-60 Blackhawk (1:48 Forces of Valor), AH-64d Apache (1:48 Forces of Valor), Air Ranger Police (1:48 Fast Lane) and MH-6 Little Bird (1:48 Ultimate Soldier). The minis are Battlefield Evolution SAS for comparison. Cheers. link |

Thanks Captain. This is very useful. I am wondering if the new ray chinook is around the same size as the sea knight. If so, might pick one up. |

I believe the CH-47 Chinook is 1:60 scale so it would be a little smaller still. |

well--that rules it out then. The sea knight is nice. If it were a bit bigger I would get it, but it seems just a bit undersized. I picked up 5 of the new ray plastic sea king helos for my brit royal marine commandos (HLBS) I have 5 blackhawks, so I should be fine for my Ranger platoon (HLBS again) Thanks again for the pics. |
