Inquiring minds want to know. |
| Dan Cyr | 24 Aug 2009 8:13 a.m. PST |
No, as it is too hard to find needles that small to stick into my figures. Dan |
| Grizwald | 24 Aug 2009 8:25 a.m. PST |
I should think the health risks would be enough to put anyone off doing so! |
Gungnir | 24 Aug 2009 8:31 a.m. PST |
Yes but only for Medieval jousting games. |
Murphy | 24 Aug 2009 8:33 a.m. PST |
Never tried, but there's gotta be a use for them somehow

I think you need to work on your liver and gall bladder meridians, Allen. Possibly large intestine as well. |
| freerangeegg | 24 Aug 2009 8:39 a.m. PST |
Wow Allen Who used accupuncture needles as a weapon? How? Does anyone make the figures? Which army lists are they in?

aecurtis | 24 Aug 2009 8:41 a.m. PST |
It's my spleen meridian that feels blocked today, streetline. Allen |
aecurtis | 24 Aug 2009 8:44 a.m. PST |
"Who used accupuncture needles as a weapon?" Haku, in "Naruto". It shames me that I know this. Allen |
| Baggy Sausage | 24 Aug 2009 8:49 a.m. PST |
I think Allen is trying to fill in for OFM while he's out. |
| freerangeegg | 24 Aug 2009 8:52 a.m. PST |
Yeah I reckon he's going for those extra 2000 posts while the OFM's in the pokey |
aecurtis | 24 Aug 2009 8:53 a.m. PST |
It's my one chance to catch up from a huge deficit. |
| streetline | 24 Aug 2009 9:00 a.m. PST |
You seem to be venting nicely from here
:-) |

I saw them used as antennas (antennae?) on vehicles at some 40K forum or the other. I thought it was a neat idea and did some research on them but apparently, they're a restricted purchase item in the US. |

I find my opponent won't keep still long enough for me to gain any significant advantage. |
| Dave Crowell | 24 Aug 2009 10:16 a.m. PST |
I suppose I could ask my local accupuncturist for some. But I prefer cat wiskers for antanae. Sharp objects and gaming just don't mix. |
| GarnhamGhast | 24 Aug 2009 10:17 a.m. PST |
Hmmm well I may be tempted if it can cure my players attention deficit disorder for a couple of hours. |
| Cyrus the Great | 24 Aug 2009 11:11 a.m. PST |
Yeah I reckon he's going for those extra 2000 posts while the OFM's in the pokey It's my one chance to catch up from a huge deficit. Allen, please don't feel obligated on anyone's account. |
aecurtis | 24 Aug 2009 11:38 a.m. PST |
I only feel obligated on my account. |

I gave up on acupuncture needles years ago when I found that ground up rhino horn was an excellent form of basing material. Similarly I have discovered that dried and granulated Sumatran tiger testes, popular in Chinese medicine are an ideal medium for keeping my paint flowing. These days I've moved more towards crystals as hit markers and of course I only paint with essential oils based paint. |

I swear by Homeopathic paints. A 30X dilution of Vallejo Brown Violet is perfect for WWII British tanks. |

Is there another race for the OFM's coveted spot on top of the lists? |

I expected this to be a pointed discussion on needling others. However, my suggestion would be acupuncture needles as pikes for 15mm Carthaginians. The suction cups may double as glasteel huts in a Sci-fi adaptation. YMMVC. |
