Anybody know if these are available? I want my LotR/Arthurian cavalry to be able to form up in close order, impossible on a 40mm circular base. I know I can get bases this size with squared corners but I want something to match aesthetically with my circular based infantry and light cavalry. They also need to be 2-3mm thick at most, so slotta bases are out (I base all of my LotR figs on washers/pennies rather than the slottas provided). MDF bases would be great but my regular supplier, ERM, doesn't do rounded corners. |

Hmmm. Not as rounded at the corners as I'd like but better than MDF. They'll be my standby. Anybody else? |

Why do you want rounded bases? Not as rounded at the corners as I'd like If you could give us some idea of your ideal 'roundedness'
:) |

Actually, has anybody seen these? link Anyone know how thick they are? I'm assuming they'll match their slottas, but you never know. How's that, CS? |

They do match the GW round slottabases. However, they're 25mm x 75mm, so might be a bit long. |

You could always shorten the GW "bike bases", or saw them in two and cap the flat ends with halves of 25mm round bases. |

link Found these from Litko. Is there a UK distributor as the p&p is a bit pricey. |

I can make you bases 40x25mm with any radius on the corners you like for the princely sum of £1.40 GBP per pack of 16 bases – posted to your UK address. Go to warbases.co.uk and use the contact page for any further questions. Cheers. |

A quick plug for Warbases – made bro and I a shed load of circular and oval bases (which we described as "cartouche"), along with movement bases to take these (ie a bit like the Games Workshop style, but better and cheaper) – fantastic service, great price and brilliant all round service. To expand a bit – the movement bases are designed to take 6 infantry (18mm circles) in two ranks of three, or three cavalry (on cartouche 18mm by 38mm). Fair enough. But for our command bases, the movement bases have a central oval hole for the mounted officer, with two circular holes each side for the foot officers – standards, drummers etc. Imagine: Infantry: 888 Cavalry: 000 Command: 808 Hope that makes some sort of sense. Point is – warbase make great rounded end bases direct in the UK, at an unbeatable price. |

Received yesterday and they're great, exactly what I was after. 100 40x20 non standard bases for under nine quid. I'll be sticking to Warbases from now on. |
