I have just posted pictures of my first painted contingent for the Towton project:

I hope this is of interest to some. I can't wait to get more figures done for this project now that I have seen these ones laid out. I think that Towton will look impressive done like this even if we only manage to get around 17000 figures on the table, although I think that 25000 is certainly a realistic target and I would hope to get as many as 33000 painted in time. As usual, our thanks go to Baccus 6mm and The Lance and Longbow Society for supporting us in this endeavour.

Cheers,
Ruarigh

Excellent stuff!

Love it. I like that you're blogging the whole process. But 25,000 figures even at 6mm just seems insane. :-)

I'm just addicted to blogging. That's all it is! :-)

As for 25000 figures being insane, I don't think so. It means that each team member needs to paint 200 or so figures for the next 14 months. That should be achieveable. Honest. I do wonder when burnout will set in though. Now, painting 33000 figures seems a little barmy to me. I think the others might be thinking that 17000 would be a good number to stop at though!

Ooh, very nicely done. 6mm always look great en masse
