No – Big Cities are EEEEeeevil!! I've never been to one, since it's forbidden in the Scripture, but I understand there's lots of noise and traffic and scary people who don't look like the folks at Sunday School, and they have Eeeevil things like stop lights and recycling and public transportation and momma told me not come… that ain't the way to have fun, son…. Duh da duh da, da duh da duh da…

evbates08 Aug 2009 6:57 p.m. PST

I know from talking to the people I game with and another group just 10 miles from me that I have regular contact with.

vojvoda08 Aug 2009 11:06 p.m. PST

I have 4 from here going, and a dozen or more FoW guys from the local area. And I will raise you 20 plus from Baltimore/Washington who will be doing events plus.

And for what it is worth I have missed about 5 or six of the three HMGS-East conventions in the past 25 years combined. I guess the 3K I drop on average is not missed by the vendors. Or you could go ask many of the exhibitors if they missed me or not.

You posting is BS period. Those who went this year or not. There are too many elements in the question no mater how you swing it. You still can't hit a dead cat with that shot group.

NO, and unless Historicon is held in my neck of the woods I will never be returning ever!!

Most likely after Fall In 2009 HMGS-E cons will not be on my attendence agenda in the future. So no need to renew that membership either!!

Planning too. The rest is in God's and Algore's hands. No disrespect to God intended.

Nazrat- I do know about the 6 of us as we travel from Calif together. We will not be going. Mainly it is the early July timeframe for us. That week(4th of July) is Hell to travel in.
We are not involved in the other politics.

flicking wargamer11 Aug 2009 10:18 a.m. PST

Hey. I thought this was supposed to be the MORE accurate poll. Only your first 10 attendees count. You have to have someone else claim the rest of your group.

Now, carry on!

dapeters11 Aug 2009 12:32 p.m. PST

Yes, may not stay over night and unless its is much better then the ones at the Host I will skip 2011.

flicking wargamer12 Aug 2009 6:25 a.m. PST

How much is "much better"? It has been established that Hooters is nearby.

firstvarty197912 Aug 2009 7:29 a.m. PST

Yes, for at least one day. I'll seriously start thinking about whether I'll attend for multiple days and/or run games come December/January.

flicking wargamer13 Aug 2009 7:09 a.m. PST

I've lost count. Can we start over?

vonLoudon02 Sep 2009 7:28 a.m. PST

And stop with the cat swinging already. My Tortie is getting real nervous.
